Macy is a full-time mom and caregiver to her three sons: Jax (8), Hayden Mac (5), and Gray (3). Hayden was injured at birth due to malpractice and, as a result, is now diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, Hydrocephalus, and Epilepsy.

After Hayden’s injury, the Ingrams were connected with the Hagans. This is when Macy knew that she wanted to make it her mission to help families facing the same struggles Hayden and Libby did in their early years. Before Hayden’s injury, Macy was a child abuse and neglect worker for the Department of Human Resources.

She was born in Fort Payne, AL, and got her bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Social Work at the University of West Alabama. It was there that she was a majorette, and her now husband, Brady, was on the football team. The two now live in Trussville, Alabama, with their children and are members of Crosspoint Church.

When they are not immersed in the medically complex day-to-day, they spend their time on Weiss Lake or in Disney World! Macy has served on our Associate Board for the last three years, most recently as President.

She has confidently taken on the role of Social Media Director since day one, and every post across our social media platforms comes from her. Macy is an incredible asset to Libby’s Friends, as she knows firsthand the challenges of caring for a loved one with a disability.
